Determining VIN or Serial number on 1968 Travel Queen Camper
Hello! I'm new to the forum and am seeking how to determine the serial or VIN number for a 1968 Travel Queen truck camper that was gifted to me. There's been a few issues with licensing (hence the need for (S/VIN) and the camper itself needs work. I've checked every cabinet and nook but the only two plates or tags that I can find are next to the door.
At eye level there is a green plate with lettered boxes. One of those boxes is marked "S" and has 3 numbers following it with another unmarked box trailing behind. The other plate is near the lower left hand side of the door and bears the numbers from two of the boxes on the green plate and are spaced with a letter (in this case "J"). From what I have seen the numbers in the "S" box are unique to each trailer so it must have to do with some form of identification?
