Always Fords and they always ran. Then Dad bought a pos 1985 S10 that needed an engine and three transmissions before 80,000 miles. Dad bought Mom an Olds Cutlass and should have been called gutless... at least it ran. When Dad passed she bought a Lexus LS400, great car.
