The Avalanche looking thing in the back is part of an optional (and very expensive) offroad package. Should this little pickup hit in the low to mid thirties MPG, they will sell regardless of fuel prices. The specs on this pickup are nearly identical to those of the 6.5 TD of years past. While it is not going to replace anyone's HD tow rig, it is not just helpless transportation, but should be capable to perform light duty towing. I think they will easily hit their 10% take rate they are shooting for. I am going to take one for a test drive when they come out. I like the idea of one.
