Bought fuel Sunday in So. Carolina for $2.09 . Today in New York State at Flying J it was @2.99 . I bought at Hess for $2.49 . Big diff.

What is the fuel tax in NY vs SC? People complain about CA but they have a $0.43/gal diesel fuel tax. I think it's $0.37/gal in FL and $0.40 in GA. I see NY has a $0.46/tax and SC $0.18/gal. OK is actually the lowest at $0.17.
OF course in FL they actually spend the money to maintain the roads unlike CA.
