Diesel engines why not more available in smaller vehicles ?

Thank you Mr. John. I appreciate your comments. I am very interested in EV’s myself so I have been researching like crazy. You are right. The li-on battery banks are comprised of many individual batteries or cells IIRC.

TESLA Model S is my dream car right now. They are very expensive. I would probably charge every other night at home. I can run 100 miles per day if I have to run errands along with my 70 mile round trip commute.
