Diesel Exhaust Brake
Hey All, Looking at stepping up to a new truck and a diesel for the first time. I am looking for guidance on exhaust brakes and any differences between GM, Ford and Dodge? Thanks in advance!

I think he just forgot to add that full exhaust mode is also selectable as the exhaust brake in auto mode is always on and available.
You can turn off auto mode as well.
Yes, when I start the truck the exhaust brake is on but tow/haul is off. I have to turn on (push button) for tow/haul mode. I actually run with two/haul mode on even when not towing because it so easily slows the truck and use of foot brake is greatly reduced :)
