Diesel Fuel smell occasionaly in cab of F250 7.3L

I sent an email to the Ford dealer objecting to the price quoted to replace the fufilter water separator valve. Explained that the 3 O rings cost less than $2 less than 1/2 hour labor. That didn't add up to $245.
I received a reply from customer relations the next day apologizing and offered to replace the valve at parts cost only
one No labor charge. I accepted. New one installed today. We will see if the smell goes away!
