I change my oil every 25000 km and have changed my fuel filters once in 117,000 km. You can spend as much money as you want on maintenance but there is no way you need to spend the kind of money some people spend if your only going to put 200k miles on it. What's your goal? I have a couple Duramax pick ups as well the 2010 gets changed annually at about 25-30,000 km. The '03 rarely gets changed...the last change interval was about 40,000 km. That truck has about 200,000 miles on it and has had almost no maintenance carried out on it. I think the fuel filters have been changed twice, the odd engine oil change, 1 transmission filter, maybe three air filters and a set of brakes.
