Didn't you ask what mods or updates were done to the truck when you bought it?
If you go to a Ford dealership have them pull an OASIS report for you. It will only show what updates and work Ford did.
If the mods were done by a non-dealership only way to tell what mods were done to the inside of the motor is to tear the thing down and look.
