Just bought a 06 Ford with 6.0 SD. I live in the flordia Keys and there are no diesel services down here. The nearest city is Homestead which is still small, or Miami big city. Any help with how i go ...

OP thought he got a great deal on his newly acquired 2006 Ford....unfortunately he was NOT aware of the 6.0 PS issues.....first diesel.
OP is probably a bit frustrated NOW and asking for help.....unaware that some valuable info can be gathered at a FORD Dealership....INFO.
But any independent diesel mechanic can 'look' it over BUT w/o tearing into engine a little bit no way knowing IF head bolts replaced.
As for the other issues with 6.0 .....should be able to tell if coolers/egr etc have been replaced
Being the 'KEYS'---lots of diesel mechanics/shops.....marine and truck
