Diesel motor oil/fuel filter question
I have a 2005 Dodge 2500 with diesel engine with 72K miles. local large truck repair service manager suggested I use Baldwin oil filter BT7349 Baldwin Fuel Filter PF7977 any of you guys...

I believe the NAPA Gold filters are still made by Baldwin
They've always been a Wix product. Unless recently changed.
Most filters used by shops are ones that they get the best price on. Thats why you must be careful on what they use. Not bashing Fram, but the filter made for a Cummins has come apart and clogged the piston cooling nozzles causing engine failures. Also look at the construction of the filters, a lot have a bar on the bottom, that bend upon high pressure spikes and the bypass is not checked as it should be. The major manufactures use a spring for the bypass set up which is best.
