Diesel option for 2018 F-150

I sit back and think that GM really hit a homerun in the midsized market with offering the 2.8 Duramax. I mean here's a truck that gives good power, 4x4 optioned, good tow rating and payload for most weekend families. The price as far as I know isn't that bad and it fits in most garages... I often see a big HD truck just tugging a smaller boat on the weekends around here. Heck there are so many people with jacked up F250's and other HD trucks that don't pull a thing. Its all for show..... Ok off the soapbox, I think that other manufactures are sitting back a bit and seeing how the market responds to midsized trucks...I bet we will see a new Ford Ranger next, and wonder if a diesel or ecoboost will be found under the hood...Regardless Ford will do good with the F150 diesel in my opinion..
