Diesel Question...
We are hoping to be able to get one more truck before we retire. Would love to think about a diesel but am scared to death of getting into major repairs down the road. Have any of you had these fear...

I have a 2005 dodge diesel,
it runs good, gets good mpg and has plenty of power.
also, you can roll a little coal with it, if you want to.
but that info is of no value to you as you can no longer buy a 5.9 dodge diesel.

my friend has a later model gmc diesel and it has given him good service, he has to add some kind of dep or some such to a tank under the hood, do not know what that's all about, but as I said his runs good.
I do not know anyone with a new ford, but see a lot of them on the road. I did have a friend with the old 6.0 liter and he burned a hole in a piston ruining the motor, but ford fixed it for him.
so far, I like my dodge diesel with 82K miles and yes I would buy another one, if I could find a low mileage vehicle. my wife can drive it pulling the camper and is comfortable riding and driving the truck.
