Diesel Question...
We are hoping to be able to get one more truck before we retire. Would love to think about a diesel but am scared to death of getting into major repairs down the road. Have any of you had these fear...

I am a new diesel owner. I upgraded from a Ford Ecoboost V6 F 150. My eco was very capable, had plenty of payload for the trailer i am currently towing. the only reason i bought a diesel was due to the incentives at the time, and i found myself doing a lot more towing then i expected.
My ram/cummins gets better mileage than my Ecoboost did, unladen and towing... It rides great and pulls the grades like nothing is back there.
there was a time i wouldn't buy a Dodge ram with someone elses money... But seeing that Ram is its own brand (owned by chrysler- not dodge). they have stepped up their game. it is an awesome truck.
i will never buy another gasser truck. I loved my ford. id buy another one... maybe even a PSD one day. but my cummins is a great truck. i have 8k miles on it. i bought it new august1. i have just under 2k miles towing already... great truck
