Diesel Tahoe
In years past, you could get Tahoes and Suburbans with diesel engines. Does anyone know, are they still available?

Biggest downside is the Mega $$$$$$$$$$$$$- I don't believe I've ever seen or heard of a diesel Tahoe, and the Suburbans are rare.

There are several companies that do conversions - DuraBurb is one. They graft a Duramax/Allison powertrain into a 2500 Burb. Upside is huge increase in towing power and an OEM look with everything working as it should. Downside is a loss of payload capacity due to the added weight of the engine and transmission.
