Actually 2 different fleet managers, for 2 national fleets. One of them GE capital, so not exactly bush league. Injectors and transmissions on the Dodge/Cummins were the primary source of headaches around 100K miles. Fronts ends much more so than the gassers.
Ford issues were abundant as well, the guy wasn't specific, but said the Ford diesels were a PITA. My guess here would be the older 4R100 transmissions, front ends, and high pressure pumps. But on the FOrds that's a guess, they had some awful years.
EDIT***They both only had extensive service history / experience for the anything up to 5 years, so we are talkin Pre-09, most likely 2000-2010's
One manager switched from Ford to GM, strictly for the bonuses / spiffs they got from GM. My current fleet veh. is a 2013 1 ton Ford gas. It's not terrible.
