OK folks, there have been a few to many diesel vs gas threads that have shall we say gone to "Hell and a hand basket"! So if all of you would put in you BEST, no flaming reasons for going gas vs diese...

Nope. I already said cost was not an issue. Before I was towing this heavy, I was using gas and it worked really well for me. When I started towing heavier things more often, I tried to continue with gas and I just wasn't happy with the experience. I tried big block gas in the past and wasn't as comfortable as I am now. If I ever quit towing heavier equipment then I will return to gas. My uncle has a D/A and never tows anything. He is starting to have egr problems and I think it is because the engine is never worked the way it was designed to work. The way I look at it, comfort is a question of money....how comfortable do you want to be.:B
