Do a little research. The Aisin trans in the RAM is a superior product to the Allison in the GM's. Now the Allison's are a different animal in other applications.
Actually the Allison is an option behind the Cummins 6.7. You just need a Ford 650/750 around them! Again a different Allison.
I disagree with the Aisin being a better tranny than the Allison. Plus the Allison is an American company and the Aisin is a Japanese company.
Choose wisely!
X2. The Aisin transmission is good, but it is not as good as an Allison. Couple the Allison to a Dmax, and you have the best performing truck to date based on my experience.
