I test drove all 3 brands before buying a new 2013 F250 last year. My quick impressions:
Ford: quietest, nice interior, nice driver data screen for towing, not the best handling.
Dodge: loudest ride due to having the loudest diesel (I realize some people like this); nicest interior of the 3; worst accelerating of the 3 unladen.
Chevy: absolutely worst interior of the 3, by far; didn't have the nice driver data like the Ford and Dodge; punchy responsive engine; nice ride.
In the end, I couldn't imagine spending long hours in the Chevy, and I wanted the quietest ride. Therefore the Ford for me. I had no doubt any of the 3 would tow what I need.
