Different types of caulking

It seems like there are many different types of caulk sealant used on our travel trailer. Is there a good source of information to hel me determine which to use where. For example, on the sides of the camper, some things use clear and others use white. Is this the same pruduct just different colors? Is it the same material used on the roof and sides?

  • pro-flex sealant comes in both clear and white and is the best for sides and windows. on the roof use dicor self leveling sealant around vents and seams and everything else. I also like eternabond tape for roof seams, apply it once and be done forever.
  • For the roof you use: Dicor Self Leveling Lap Sealant
For the sides you use: GeoCel ProFlex
Never use silicone on the exterior of any RV.

ProFlex comes in clear, white, almond, bright white, etc.

The Dicor comes in plain white as far as I know.

    Easy!
