- macdale4ExplorerOur new Arctic Fox 1140 has the TV located in such a way you can only see it from the rear of the dinette and that gets a little cramped. Plus our two Labrador retrievers like to sleep up on the dinette when we are watching TV and the AF just doesn't have the room our old Lance had. The thing I didn't like about the Lance was the bathroom door opened outward and with the table slid out you couldn't get into the bathroom, but the AF has a sliding door so that won't be a problem. I think I'll do it this winter. I'll upload pics. (oops I guess I need to change my signature, we totaled out the Lance, F-350 and tow jeep last September.)

PLS post a pic of that, I could use a smile! - trailgranny50ExplorerWe never use the back, window, portion of our wrap around but our three, yes 3, small dogs use that spot as well as most of that wall seating space as a doggie bed. Most useful.
- tonymullExplorerOur dinette is used only for watching TV. We do 99% of our cooking outside. I don't camp to use a microwave or stand in front of a cooktop. Decided a while back to cook over wood as much as I can. So other than a cup of coffee on rainy mornings the whole kitchen is just storage anyway. For lounging a u shaped dinette is best.
- tuna_fisherExplorerI have the wrap around style, theres just me and the little lady. We use the center section for our box that holds all that inportant stuff, post it's/ cards/maps/ etc, etc. We'd be lost without "the box".
- pjay9ExplorerTHX!
- jimh406Explorer IIIWe generally use tablets and laptops. We eat on our laps or lap desks or outside on the picnic tables when we carry only one table, but we sometimes carry both tables. Like most tables, our normal dinette table is made to be easily removable, so we can place it in the back floor board, on the bed, or lean it against the wall depending on our mood.
It's not at all a permanent modification. - pjay9Explorerjimh425...do you dine in the TC? Where do you play cards or work on your laptop, if you do? I like your idea to open it up but I need my table. Your thoughts are welcome.
- jimh406Explorer IIII think it depends on the dinette length, and how much space there is. I think the large dinettes would make a good wraparound.
Not a great picture and not with matching fabric for our throw pillows, but this one shows you the little quarter table I added to provide more open space and yet somewhere to put a coffee cup, etc. It rests on the table bracket of the dinette table instead of the dinette and leaves the floor open. - languiduckExplorerInteresting. I guess I have nothing to add except for a comment which is I would love it if my dinette was not wrap around. I dislike it. The middle section just ends up with stuff piled on it because sliding around to sit there is about impossible for an adult. It doesn't seat more people that way either. Just something to think about.
