dino oil vs synthetic mpg
has any one when from dino oil to full synthetic oil & had better m p g & what oil & how much better m p g did you get ? i have 2011 chevy 2500 Duramax pulling 35 ft 5th wheel..

By using Mobil1, I saved a Datsun engine in 1978 after it overheated...never used the hydrocarbon stuff again. '90 Suburban had 262K mi. when I sold it and '01 had 180K mi. Neither engines needed oil between changes. Maybe I would have gotten the same life using dino oil, but it would have fried and stuck to the inside of the Datsun engine.
