And don't the diesel pumps where the tractors fill up, pump at a much faster rate? It's easy to over fill a tank in a pickup.

Ain't none around here. And FYI. I have pumped diesel in most of the lower 48. It's just dirty. and in truth. One of the reasons the truck lane is more dirty. They use 2 filler hoses (from the same pump) at a time. One in each saddle tank, on opposite sides of the truck. Sometimes they don't get back around in time, and the pump may not always cut off automatically, so there is more spillage.
