First of all, Lance make and sells many times the number of TC's per year and has for over 30 yeras now than the closest competition. Why do you think that's the case if they are so bad or have so many problems? If you only sell a small number of RV units you could only have a small number of RV units complaints. Lots of "come lately" and "fly by night" RV manufacturer's suddenly show up and soon vanish a coupke years later.
At one Lance dealer in Tennessee on I-24 where we were looking at a couple Lance models they had, the owner said that a guy couldn't figure out how to open the hidden latch cupboard door over the sink so he took his key ring bottle opener (church key) and pryed the door open breaking the latch because he thought it was just stuck! The salesman was just walking up to the TC when he heard the snap and caught the dude red handed.
The very large dealer's salesman south of Grand Rapids MI told the 4 of us looking at the 3 brands of TC's they had on the lot that they have a lot more problems and with the Arctic Fox TC's they sell than the Lances and even a lot more with the Travel Lite TC's that the Arctic Fox's.
How do you rickeoni and Bedlam know if The TC came from Lance with a latch issue or if an idiot had messed it or other things up at the show? I doubt the dealer hadn't checked the units out thoroughly before taking them to the show as they aren't stupid! You seem so happy to blame things on the manufacturer! However, not one word about the other brands of TC's or what you own. Very interesting!
I/we have absolutely nothing to do with Lance RV or Lance dealer other than having been a very happy owner of 3 of their RV units and would certainly buy another in a flash, hands down!
