I have read this subject from the start and I'll add my .02. I have an 06 Lance and over all it was put together fairly well. Except for the rot in both wings within 18 months. The TP door was not adjusted properly and some of the inside molding was not attached properly.
Now, in July I went with a friend who bought a NEW 855s just off the truck. I did the pre-sale check with him. The TP door would not close. I found screws missing from areas both inside and out. Shower door was out of adjustment. Bolts holding the jacks in place were very loose. When we got it to his house we went back over it again. One of the rear docking lights had a 1/2 in gap around the top and the light fixture was full of water. The other had to be caulked.
I was also not impressed with the battery set up. It seemed to me that if one had to service the wet cell battery's it would be a pain. Also with some electrical components in the immediate area of the battery's could be susceptible to corrosion do to off gassing battery's.
Workmanship was bad enough that I decided that I would not buy one my self. I'll stick with my non slide 06. For $31K workmanship was not what it should be...
