How are they being shipped to Canada, the link shows shipping of $160 and shipping by UPS. The last two items that I've received from the US through UPS shipping, cost me an extra 80% +/-.
This was above the UPS shipping fees. UPS charged me for the duty, taxes and brokerage fees, plus HST on top of that. I paid $120 for the item, skylight, plus shipping. The UPS driver asked for another $95 before he would give me the package.
Let us know how you make out.

Ah, there's the rub. I ship them to Freeport, my freight forwarder in the US right after the Lacolle border crossing. They only charge me $12.00 CAD to receive and hold them. I pick up everything when we stay at Cumberland Head Beach for 2 days. The 5 of us can bring up to $4,000 CAD duty free every trip.
You can do the same by shipping to the US side of your closest border crossing. I'm sure there is a similar service on the US side of your border.
Discount Tire will also ship direct to Canada for free but will charge you the duties and taxes up front so you won't get screwed by UPS. It's an extra $160.00 USD but at least UPS can't charge you a penny more.
By the way, I was part of a successful class action lawsuit against UPS for their ******** 'brokerage' fees. I never used them again because they are disgusting low lifes for cross border shipping.
