Took me awhile to find that "sweet spot" of RV'ing and I agree with Stu. 10 to 3 works perfect on all levels of traveling and CG arrivals.
Only thing I would add is that if you are traveling in the dreaded heat of Summer in the Southern states, I backed up the departure time. Get on the road by 8:00 and off by 1:00 before the heat of the day. Easier on the engine, dogs and driver!
