It depends upon what we are doing and if we have a reason to be somewhere that day.
I find that long term RV folks do 200-400 miles per day - with 300 or less most common.
Folks headed somewhere for a short (less than 30 days) vacation want to get there quickly and go longer time and distances.
Actually, for me - driving is about time, not distance.
I try to keep it around 5 or 6 hours on the road max.
Driving a truck/trailer or RV is more work than driving a car - harder on you. Can't see as well. More work.
And night driving really isn't fun.
