I like the idea but it wouldn't work that well for us. We use the truck to go sightseeing so I wouldn't want it mounted to the camper.
We quite often put up a tarp but we just hang it from the trees. I know there are issues with that some places but I've never been questioned about it here... but I also don't use screws or anything just paracord.
