Maybe! People ask if I think spending $$$ on my 5th wheel and my 3500 diesel was really worth it. I had gas tow vehicles that I used to "will" up the hills. With the horsepower and torque of the diesel I rarely wish for more power. People ask what kind of mileage do I get? I do like to save money when I can. But when it comes to setting up camp in the middle of the forest, or near a stream or lake, gas mileage and cost of ownership is far from my mind. I really don't know if my response has anything to do with your original question but it is my two cents, or is that sense?
