Here are the numbers I came up with doing some quick math in excel based on price in my area my area. Fuel is actually only $.25 higher now, but I added another $.15 as an average to make up for winter prices.
Not sure where Vicentric got $59,383/$57,638 for a Ram 2500 Laramie crew cab 4x4. I know resale values of trucks changes from location to location, but it should not be that much Maybe they are considering taking the vehicle into the dealer every PM which would drive the diesel costs up quite a bit? Or, maybe they are applying high 4+% interest rates for those with less than sub prime credit scores.
I also don't really have any repair data, but the Cummins factory warranty goes beyond the 75k of the Vicentric data so any repairs on it would be covered during that time. Anyone see any errors in my numbers then please let me know. Also, I got $14k off this MSRP, but I used the MSRP prices.
