If you don't mind feeding that hoss you have, my guess is that it will pull right along side a 7.3 and better than some of the erlier 7.3's. i went from a early 99 7.3 to as 2012 6.2 Ford and will never look back.

It's not that bad...10.5-11.0 with the TC .5 less flat towing a car as long as I stay out of it. Empty it'll smoke the rears in 3 gears...lol, and use 1/2 tank doing it. But with the Banks powerpack on it it sure does sound sweet pulling a hill at 4k. If I can find a decent 98-03 Ford 4x4 dually I'll replace Red.
