That could be coming soon. Ford is going to produce a 7.3L gas engine at the Windsor plant.
Let’s see 7.3 gas towing 16K likely will need 4.10 or 4.30 or lower, should make for fun watching the fuel gauge fall while driving.
A high compression, DI, VVT, long stroke, OHV engine backed by a 10 speed transmission won't need that low of gears. Stay tuned!
Just an fyi but it appears that the UPS trucks in my area have completely moved away from diesel and are running gas engines now.
