And constant short trips is a solid reason for not buying a diesel, however, citing "financial sense" as a reason when you would happily spend more on a 6.4L over a 5.7L than you would with a Cummins diesel over a 5.7L is not. I am not saying this to you per say, but rather to everyone who keeps bringing up "financial sense" as a reason they didn't buy a diesel as if they have some inferiority complex and feel the need to justify their purchase decisions because deep down they want one.
The guy with all the spreadsheets, charts and figures to justify his decision is accusing the other guys of having an inferiority complex. You're pretty good at talking the talk, .....
