Setting a truck camper on a flatbed isn't uncommon and it works great.
You get a porch and lots of room to carry stuff. Judging by the surfboard, it's probably a young guy who hasn't got the budget for a zillion dollar truck and RV. He's out there getting it done and probably having more fun than most of us.

It is just amazing to me a person can sink over 100K into a new truck and truck camper.Getting it done and having fun is what it is all about.
