if it was a 5th wheel.. a semi is very short..to its trailer.
but a bumper pull.. a little difference... but WDH and sway control... and newer trucks have Yaw control..
the down side... if setup is wrong.. it becomes the Tail waging the dog...
and here the longer truck frame has a little better chance of some control
my opinion.
I have a Supercab long bed.. because I park a 8 foot motorcycle in the bed of truck and pull a 30 foot bumper pull travel trailer..
7,000 miles a year....
