According to the 2015 Ford Trailer Tow Guide your hitch receiver can handle 850# tongue weight and 8500# trailer weight without a WDH.
There might also be a sticker on the hitch receiver with the same info.
I have been wondering the same since upgrading from my Tundra to a 2015 F250, I have a Reese Dual Cam setup with 1200lb bars. It would be nice to not have to use the WD bars, however they also supply sway control.
the trailer is 6k dry with 600lb tongue weight. the truck has the integrated brake controller which is supposed to have sway control built in?
certainly the f250 suspension is much beefier than the Tundra but will I still need WD (1200lb bars) and sway control from the hitch bars?
my intiial thought was I would still use the WDH setup and just go 1 link more on the chains, but it would be nice if I didn't need it at all.
