Last year we stayed at a wonderful campground on Lake Guntersville in Alabama (Honeycomb Creek). Everyone was great and treated us like family.
We took our Ranger bass boat which is not a cheap and were using the brand new F250. While getting into the boat at the dock one day, some people were in another boat fishing around the docks. They pointed out the obvious that we were from West Virgina ( hull # on the boat) and asked if we were staying at the campground. We said yes and pointed out our little pop up TC on a site near the bank. One of the "gentlemen" turned to the other and said "told ya"".
Not sure if that was a Truck camper slam or a West Virginia slam. We got a chuckle out of it and took it as both!
