The only way to get it on record that will mean anything, would be to take it into the dealer so they could go through the particular manufacturers established warranty submittal and documentation process. If it's not recorded in the units file at the manufacturer good luck.

And will be done by dealer lacky vs the highly trained factory installer
Gads.....just rebuild it yourself and be done with it
And will add that it would most likely take weeks....if not months.
