We frequently stay in South Carolina in the hotter months. We usually start the AC just a bit before dusk. Inside it would be in the high 80’s. By the time we go to bed, around 10pm or so, it’s plenty cool enough to sleep, usually in the low 70’s.
We’ve never run it all day. Since we stay mostly in State and National parks, we try to keep our impact on them to a minimum.
Our camper is 21’ and has the basic Dometic 13.5 AC.
