Do they make such-a-thing?

There are usually windows on both sides of most RV's that is why the TV is always placed in a corner situation.

To be able to watch the TV straight on, one side of the RV would have to be windowless!! In the bedroom you get to watch it straight on.:W

My 2009 Starcraft 241RKS has a small couch, you have to look towards the ceiling to watch TV, not really a lounging TT. Mine also have two doors, that way if it catches fire I don't have to navigate paste the stove (most likely where the fire will be) to get out.

We noticed the TV thing at this years RV show. Very few had TV's with a comfortable viewing angle. Check out the Arctic Fox 25P. It has a nearly straight viewing angle.
The only other one I know of is mine, which has the TV above the dinette directly across from the couch.
As far as the second door is concerned, I think it is a valuable safety item especially since so many of us Americans are in no shape to crawl out a window in the event of an emergency.

Check out some of the Lance models. They have sofa conversions on the beds and comfortable viewing angles - also from the dinettes, etc Lance TV's come on an articulating arm (mostly all models)

2 doors = egress (technical name for way to get out in emergency)

We had that problem in our Nomad. If we placed the tv in the corner where it was supposed to go, then one person at the table would almost have to lay on their back to watch it. So we decided to just place the tv on the table right in front of the windo. It easily turns so viewing from the bed is closer too.

Often TV viewing angles can be improved by using a pull out tilting articulating bracket. While moving the sofa maybe impossible changing the angle of the TV maybe as easy as changing the mount for the TV.

There are a couple where the TV is almost straight across from the sofa, but, they are more in the 35 foot neighborhood. They are tripple slide units, where TV and sofa are in opposing slide outs. Third slide is in master bedroom.

Exactly. Our new camper will have the tv perpendicular to the couch. We are just planning to buy an articulating mount so that the tv can be swung out to be angled towards the couch. We rarely watched tv in our old camper... maybe on rare occasion before we went to bed. With a toddler that might need some distraction if it rains, we expect more usage out of the new camper tv.

It depends on how big a TT and television you want. I was in a very large 5ver at the RV show, resting in a Lazyboy, watching a video on a 50” screen above the faux fireplace heater on the opposite wall. I do not recall how many doors it had.

My 25 ft. Dutchmen has a 19” screen mounted on the bedroom/dinette divider wall which you can watch from the kitchen table. It has only one door.
