We noticed the TV thing at this years RV show. Very few had TV's with a comfortable viewing angle. Check out the Arctic Fox 25P. It has a nearly straight viewing angle.
The only other one I know of is mine, which has the TV above the dinette directly across from the couch.
As far as the second door is concerned, I think it is a valuable safety item especially since so many of us Americans are in no shape to crawl out a window in the event of an emergency.
