Wife and I really focused on floorplan with our most recent TT. First, our sofa is situated right across from the dinette, which we love for creating a conversation area with guests. (Also, television is above the dinette which is perfect when viewing from sofa.) Second, with the slide retracted we can get to everything in the kitchen, sit at the dinette, AND get to the bathroom and bedroom. Third, if someone is showering or using the toilet we are no longer in waiting mode. Our current TT has a separate shower and toilet. (See floorplan below.) LOVE that feature! Fourth, wife wanted a rear kitchen with corner sink for more counter space, and fifth, she INSISTED on a queen walk-around bed. Check, check! :)
We too love that floorplan. Having the dinette next to your camp space (not the neighbours) is also a plus.
At first we were looking at smaller trailers with a rear bath. But the wife didn't like having to go through the kitchen to get to the bath. So we started looking at midbath models but most of the shorter ones (under 28') had really cramped bedrooms. Your floorplan sort of merges the shower and sink area with the bedroom, and adds an extra door, so the bedroom is much more open. Now if they had just made it a wee bit longer and crammed an 80" bed in there ... I would be happy.
By the way, how do you deal with all the light coming in from that big shower skylight? Or are you just normally early risers?
