Here is the floorplan we really like, and have our eye on as a possible upgrade in a year or two. It's a Rockwood Ultra Lite 2604WS. The model was new in 2013. We like the layout, the super slide, and the wardrobe slide, so it looks to be quite spacious for a 28'8" TT. A free-standing dinette is an option, which is our preference. I'd be curious about any comments about this floorplan.
We have a similar arrangement in our house, and I got tired of the two door access to the bathroom. But at home, I can just walk into the hallway to get to the living area - here you would have to go outside. Also - it seems odd to me to invest in a slide just for a wardrobe. then again, if it is just the two of you most of the time, this layout would probably work well. We were contemplating this type of arrangement because our kids are older now, but they insist on coming with us still. So we need something that is better suited for 4 adults, which means two-double beds in a bunk arrangement.

Thanks for your comments. Always appreciate the insight of others. Everyones camping needs are certainly different. It is always only my wife and I plus one dog camping. We actually are looking for the "pass thru bathroom", such as this floorplan has. Reason is, my wife works nights, so sometimes we leave for camping the next day, and she needs to sleep when we get there. A pass thru bathroom provides a sound and space buffer from the kitchen/living area. Then in the afternoons, I often like to take a nap, my wife, not so much, so again, we get the sound buffer. Re the wardrobe slide out -- we like that for the extra storage. I have an online business, and I take product with us and pack, print labels, and ship every day. That wardrobe would be used partly for product storage. Also I would build some shelves in part of the wardrobe, for folded clothes and so on, which I did in our current smaller TT. We only need very limited hanging type closet.
