do you keep water in holding tank between trips?

we go camping every other weekend. we only use sites that are full hookups so we don't camp using the holding tank. I did santitze the system though when I purchased the new camper last month. we went...

We keep water in ours throughout the season. I always have a full load when on trips and the leftovers come home. I don't drain it and there has never been a smell issue. It also makes it nice if I have to work on something (like the toilet) and have instant water access without running a hose.
