Do you keep you blinds open or closed while in storage?

Ours is stored in the side yard under a shade tree. The blind are where they were when we came home. Anyone peeking in the RV is going to answer to the dog then me.

I cannot think of anything in my TT a thief would want; the microwave, TV and the appliances are the cheapest on the market. I am sure they have better at home. :W

I advise keeping blinds close to block out the sunlight,UV rays and heat.
Prying eyes are not a concern.

We leave ours closed when out camping and gone at work for the day other wise it is stored inside and some are open some closed. Our TT that sits at the lake has the silver bubble wrap and shade and thermo curtains we had made keeps the temp alot better. Some day I will get a pole barn up to put the camper in up there!

I'd be more inclined to think that your trailer sat for five days unnoticed in the storage lot, while maybe four people maximum pulled an RV in or out.

If you're really curious you might ask at the office how many people move their RV in or out in a given week. I know where mine is stored most of the trailers are sitting and rotting away from lack of use.

There are more than RVs and boats stored in the storage shelter where I store my TT. However, there is little traffic in the area where I store my TT. The parking space beside my TT, on the side where all shades were down, has a utility trailer parked. It is used often, if not daily. Hopefully, you're correct, and my TT sat for five days unnoticed. Just like any other day when I've had all shades/blinds down/closed.

We store at home/under cover 24/7, and do keep the day shades down for sun protection for the upholstery. Re keeping the pleats in better shape, have no idea, but we do raise them when we go out to do some work or just to enjoy a glass or two and some time contemplating future camping.

The good news is that before too much longer the trees planted near the Rockyport will offer much better shade.
