Do you pull your taillight housings monthly?
My 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 is showing rust-through on the rear fenders above the wheels. I'm pretty disappointed, especially considering my previous truck was >10 years old before the paint even bub...

Back in the mid-'60s a old body man pointed out how the manufactures shaped the insides of panels to hold dirt, cause rust. Add salt, thinner steel, rust helps sell cars.
BTW, I have never pulled the taillights, but for years brother and I would load 1 of our winter drivers on trailer, meet at car wash. Wives bring their cars, we put trailer on ramps in bay use the extra height to wash bottom of vehicle, unload/reload/repeat.
