do you use this?

The 3 compartment shampoo/conditioner/soap container that goes on the wall from Camping World. I'm trying to save some space in the med cabinet. I can't seem to find any small bottles that are pump style. I read the reviews and they are mixed. Would it be possible to affix the unit to the wall with hot glue? I just want to make sure it stays on.

The worst thing is to have to clean up a mess after setting up camp.

  • We use this one. Its sold thru Simplehuman. It has two dispensers. We use it for body wash and shampoo. I fastened it with the supplied silicone adhesive 3 years ago and never had a problem. The dispensers are easy to fill and easy to clean out when I put things away for the year. I was concerned about the dispensers leaking and dripping but they seem to be built well and they don't drip. Its nice not having to mess around with loose containers inside the shower.
  • I have used two of the two chamber soap dispensers for over 6 years and 50000 miles and have never had a issue. I think they are great addition. I cleaned the surface with alcohol and placed them in the shower corners using the silicone type mounting adhesive product they cam with. I got my dispensers from Home Depot.
  • My wife got us a couple of containers that sit on our counter area and hold to the wall with suction cups. She said she got them at Walmart
  • I also use the one from Bed Bath & Beyond and it works great. I used the silicone that came with it and it has held on in everyone of my RVs that I have added it to. In fact I removed one time as I wanted to relocate it and had a heck of a time getting it off the wall.
  • On a segway...I put this in the TC forum because it seems like things move around a lot more than they did in the 5er. Do you think this is true?
  • We use the 3 space one and have had great results with it, shampoo, conditioner and body wash!!
I picked up some water resistant epoxy from home Depot and it stays up just fine!
  • we bought a shower curtin that has pockets on it and keep shampoo and such in those
  • I've used something similar from Bed Bath & Beyond for several years. It came with its own silicone based adhesive. I've never had a problem with it coming loose. I did prep the area as indicated in the instructions before securing to the wall.

We really like the pumps. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are kept at easy reach.
