dodge 3500 cummins clutch fan engages on flat with no load

Let me ask you this, where do you have your AC set at? As in, is it set to recirculate or in the normal AC mode. The recirculate mode is the MAX setting and the AC compressor never turns off. If you have it set there the truck will generate enough heat to lock the cooling fan up. The only time mine does this is when the AC is set to recirculate or max and the dealer has assured me this is normal. Mine does it all the time and my temp is usually a tic above 210* when it happens.
