Ok, the mystery continues, or at least, my capacity to understand.
First, this would not be seen as an overheat condition except that everyone says running empty I should never see 200 deg, right?
It ran about 198 this morning with an outside temp of 72 and touched 203 on the way home with an outside temp of 86 and the ac on full blast.
When i look in the rad it looks clean, i do not see water flowing at the cap but if give the slightest squeeze on the hose i get an immediate and unrestricted reaction of water gushing out.
I can touch a lot of the rad from the front reaching behind the AC condenser. It feels hot on the left and cooler on the right and the hose coming out is very cool. (this was at a idle with a temp of around 185)
Someone suggested something dragging creating a load but I get 18-20 MPG depending how i drive so i think that rules that out.
SOmeone suggested air in the system, where would it be and how do i get rid of it?
